Many boats make a claim to luxury, but the 2014 Azimut 70 Flybridge is one of the few that delivers. Spacious, airy, and designed for comfort, this vessel rides the waves in style. Starting at the top, you find an area designed for entertaining and enjoying the view. The fly pilot station is equipped with everything you expect from a boat of this caliber. The hardtop protects the captain and guests from the sun but the center rolls back with a push of a button when people want more light. For sun worshipers there are plenty of opportunities to catch some rays with a large sun pad on the bow and another next to the pilot. Additional opportunities can be found on the terrace that overlooks the ocean and includes removable lounging chairs. The flybridge also has a
dinette with comfy padded seating for eight, perfect for alfresco dining and socializing. There is also a minibar, barbeque, and sink, so guests can keep the captain company while grabbing a snack or drink. Built-in speakers keep the music flowing and everyone happy.
Taking the stairs down to the main level, you find another dinette with padded seating with a large swim pad just a few steps away. In front of the dinette, a large glass door leads to the beautifully appointed salon. The first thing you notice is the abundance of windows that fills this large space with light. Thick carpeting, plush seating and wood accents complete this area and a large-screen television will keep everyone happy if the weather doesn’t cooperate with outdoor activities.
A few steps from the salon is the well-appointed galley, complete with sinks, cooktop, oven, refrigerator, freezer, and plenty of storage. A pull-down screen can separate the galley from the lovely dining area that seats eight in comfort. Forward of the dining area is the pilothouse that includes two seats, joystick capabilities and all the electronics needed for a safe voyage. The lower deck delivers comfort in style, with 4 primary cabins and a total of eight berths as well as two crew cabins located behind the engine area for guest privacy that has a total of three berths. The owner’s cabin is located in the center of the boat and has plenty of headroom and light. The peninsula bed takes center stage with its padded headboard and finishes. Their room also has a private dining area and abundant storage, and the use of mirrored surfaces enhances the already open feel of the space. The in-suite head has all the amenities you expect, including an enclosed shower.
The VIP guest room also has a peninsula bed, padded headboard, and windows. Plenty of light and mirrored accents keep the room feeling open and airy. The head includes an enclosed shower sink, toilet and plenty of shelf space. Both of the guest rooms have twin berths, and each has a window and share the day head. A washer and dryer are located beneath the stairs. Powerful, sleek and stylish, this 2014 Azimut 70 Flybridge has it all and is one of the best-maintained yachts we have seen in a long time. Step onboard to appreciate true luxury.
