One of the best values on the market, the Meridian 580 Pilothouse is designed for long distance voyaging in full style, comfort and safety. The fly bridge offers a bird’s eye view for the captain and provides plenty of cushioned seating for guests. Easy to drive and dock, it makes even the most inexperienced captain look like a pro. Teak stairs lead to the cockpit below, which has side walkways to a double sunbathing pad. A large swim platform provides plenty of room for enjoying the water, but is large enough for fishing,barbecuing, or just enjoying the view.

The mahogany-decked salon includes a sitting area, dinette, and gallery, all beautifully appointed for luxury living. The galley is a showstopper, larger than expected with granite counter tops and everything you need to feed a hungry crowd including an oven, 4 burner stove top, refrigerator, freezer and coffee maker. An unexpected bonus is the dishwasher. This area also includes a Bose theater system including a large LCD television and surround sound. The system allows you to play different music in various zones of the boat.

The 580 also has three berths that comfortably sleep six for long trips. For weekend excursions, you can squeeze a few more people in here and there. The master suite boasts of a queen-size bed, television, cedar-lined wardrobes, dressing table, and vanity. There is a full-sized head with granite flooring and a full shower. The forward cabin is nearly the same size, though the shared head is smaller. The finally cabin offers bunk bed sleeping accommodations and is adjacent to the washing machine and dryer.
